COVID-19: DEALING WITH DOMESTIC ABUSE

Date: Friday 15 May 2020 Time: 10am

Prince Evans Solicitors invites you to a free live webinar which shall address the steps you can take if you or persons you know are victims of domestic abuse.

Please note that if you are unable to watch live, the webinar and associated materials shall be made available to access free of charge after the webinar. Should you wish any materials to be made available to you discreetly, please let us know by emailing Claire Oldfield at claire.oldfield@prince-evans.co.uk or anonymously to info@southstylemedia.co.uk.

Muna Saleem, Partner and Head of the Family Law Team, together with Claire Oldfield, Solicitor in the Family Law Team, shall discuss the alarming rise of domestic abuse as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

You can expect a discussion of the support and help available to you, both within the law, for example injunctive relief, and outside of the law, for example charities who are able to provide support.

The discussion shall conclude with a brief consideration of the long term legal steps you may wish to take following an incident of domestic abuse.

Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session for anyone wishing to ask questions. If you would prefer to put forward questions ahead of the webinar, please email claire.oldfield@prince-evans.co.uk in advance.
